Australian General Practitioners, nurses, practice managers and primary health networks experiences of implementing a structured approach to initiating advance care planning and palliative care. A peer reviewed journal article reporting findings of a qualitative study evaluating the second phase of the Advance Project in general practices across Australia has been published in BMJ Open. The findings suggest that The Advance Project resources and training can help facilitate general practices to incorporate team-based initiation of advance care planning and palliative care needs assessment into their usual care.
