The Advance Project has a full suite of eLearning modules for the general practice team. New individually tailored eLearning modules are available for GPs, general practice nurses and practice managers. And the training is accredited, approved or endorsed by the relevant professional bodies. Our new and updated toolkit supports GPs and nurses to initiate advance care planning conversations, and to assess patients’ and carers’ palliative and supportive care needs. The training and resources enable general practice managers to support GPs and nurses to implement the resources into routine practice. There are also new resources for patients and carers. Telementoring from an experienced palliative care nurse is available to assist with implementing the resources at general practices.
